Happy New Year! Rosh Hashana!

Rosh Hashana!

Happy New Year! This is the year 5779 on the Jewish civil calendar. The “new year” is also called Rosh Hashana, which means “head of the year.”

Even though I didn’t grow up this way, I’m so glad I know about the feasts of God because I enjoy meeting with my Daddy God every opportunity He has appointed to worship Him and to fellowship with others. How many of you know whenever you take time to meet with Daddy God to worship and adore Him, there’s ALWAYS something good in it for you because an open portal of blessings is over the meeting place. Although we meet with our God because we love Him, you just can’t outgive Daddy God because He’s unconditional love.

In His Presence is everything you need or desire: blessing, encouragement, strength, healing, deliverance, comfort, miracles and provision. He’s a good, good heavenly Father! God has always desired to dwell with His people just like He abided with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden in the book of Genesis before they sinned. After Adam and Even severed this divine communion because of sin, God didn’t just throw them to the curb, He sent His only Begotten Son, Jesus our Lord and Savior, Yeshua HaMashiach, to redeem us by His death on Calvary’s cross, where He shed His sinless blood to forgive a sin debt we could never pay.

Why? So that He could dwell in our hearts and among us by His Spirit when we meet together. Ephesians 2:7 says:

“…that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.”

Oh, how the Father loves you and me! As a believer in the New Covenant, I don’t “have to” practice the feasts, I get too. And boy has our lives changed as we move in lockstep with Daddy God’s rhythm and timetable. We have more energy, joy, faith, wisdom, revelation and power to do God’s will. Life is more enjoyable and problems seem easier to process and handle. You can learn more about the feasts of God by reading Leviticus 23:1-44. A great book to read that breaks them down is Larry Huch’s, “The Torah Blessing.”

Power Up & Finish Strong in 2017!

Wow! It’s the top of the fourth quarter of 2017! We have 87 days left in 2017.  How are you coming along with finishing your goals? If you’re moving right along, great! Stay focused. Keep moving forward.

If you’re stuck and not quite sure of the right next move, here are 3 tips that can help you resume moving in the right direction to achieving your 2017 goals.

1) Go back and review your top goals to revive your passion and commitment. Why did you choose your goals in the first place? What was the payoff or outcome you imagined? Who will benefit once you finish your goal?

If you don’t already have this, get a picture of your finished goal. For example, if you’re writing a book, take a picture of your book cover or of a book similar to the one you’re writing. [Read more…]

Flex Your Perseverance Muscle

I have lived long enough to know that in life you will have problems. Jesus tells us this in John 16:33:

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”

I prefer to call them challenges or opportunities because each one contains a silver lining … something for us to learn about
how strong we are by faith in Christ Jesus. We also get to experience the powerful love of the Father as He downloads the wisdom, connections and provision to tackle the problem. We truly cannot lose with the faith we use when we keep our minds stayed on Him (Is. 26:33).

The best example of an overcomer in the Bible to me is Jesus. Sometimes I sit and think about how hard it must have been for Him Who had never sinned to patiently endure being mistreated and ultimately to die a horrific death on the cross to forgive our sins. He did it all so that we could be restored to the family of God and rule and reign as kings.Oh how Elohim loves us! Do you ever just sit down and think about His love? [Read more…]

Pressing Into Fervent Prayer

imagesPraying is respecting God’s authority. It’s the creature calling on the Creator to say I need you. I want you before all these things. I’m solely dependent upon you and without you …

I am nothing.  But with you, I can do all things.

God gave authority on earth to man so anything that happens on earth by God will only happen through a righteous man or woman. God needs man to commune with Him to stop judgment on earth because we have been given authority in this domain.

This is why satan is relentless at trying to frustrate you, so you won’t open your mouth and speak creative words of authority that shut him down. He knows that when you open your mouth in faith believing, heaven moves, things shake and God’s will manifests on earth.

James 5:16 says:

16 Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].

Fervent prayer brings much power, demonstration, much ability, much manifestation. Ther word “fervent” in the Greek is the word, “energeo”, where we get the word “energy”. It means “to be active, efficient:—do, (be) effectual (fervent), be mighty in, show forth self, work (effectually in).

Fervent prayer involves your entire being: spirit, soul and body. It’s red-hot prayer that boils over from your heart. Fervent prayer is always based upon the God-kind of faith. This means before you open your mouth to pray and decree, you know the answer is yes and amen, because God told you to say it by His Spirit.

When you fervently pray, heaven is released into earth. If you don’t pray, who will? If you don’t pray, how can the angels be released to bring it to pass? All believers are called to pray to advance God’s kingdom on earth, thereby demolishing the enemy’s strongholds. So I admonish you … PRAY NOW!

No Fear Here: Fighting to Fulfill Your Prophetic Destiny

imagesA Word of Encouragement for You

You are not alone. Even though at times you may feel this way, do not be deceived by your unsanctified emotions like fear, doubt, unbelief and self-pity. God loves you. Intercessors are picking you up in the spirit and praying for your strength. So keep right on moving forward to fulfill your prophetic destiny and resist those lying thoughts and feelings.

Fulfilling your prophetic destiny will not come without resistance, because you have an adversary that knows once you come into a greater awareness and revelation of WHO YOU ARE, you will diminish his kingdom of darkness, by your light. [Read more…]
