Perseverance

Perseverance. It’s a quality necessary to fulfill your purpose and destiny, or any worthwhile endeavor. It’s the ability to make continual effort to accomplish a goal despite failure, opposition or resistance. It’s bull-dog tenacity in the face of fire.

Every great leader has it. And if you don’t, you can cultivate it by faith. Just ask Daddy God for the grace to endure all opposition and He will do it. When you feel you’ve reached the end of your rope, let perseverance kick in by faith through the invisible, yet tangible power of Holy Spirit inside of your heart.

When you have begun in faith to complete your assignment, expect opposition to come. This is just an indicator that victory is yours no matter what. Tag in perseverance with thanksgiving and praise into the ring with you and you will ALWAYS WIN!

For meditation:

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. Galatians 6:9

Power Up & Finish Strong in 2017!

Wow! It’s the top of the fourth quarter of 2017! We have 87 days left in 2017.  How are you coming along with finishing your goals? If you’re moving right along, great! Stay focused. Keep moving forward.

If you’re stuck and not quite sure of the right next move, here are 3 tips that can help you resume moving in the right direction to achieving your 2017 goals.

1) Go back and review your top goals to revive your passion and commitment. Why did you choose your goals in the first place? What was the payoff or outcome you imagined? Who will benefit once you finish your goal?

If you don’t already have this, get a picture of your finished goal. For example, if you’re writing a book, take a picture of your book cover or of a book similar to the one you’re writing. [Read more…]

Beyond Goal-setting: Dream. Plan. Achieve.

I hope you are excited about a brand new year to achieve new goals and to make an impact by serving your gifts to the world. As a top sales performer for many years, I have been fortunate to receive excellent training from Fortune 500 companies like Xerox and Verizon and from successful direct selling companies like Mary Kay Cosmetics on how to stay focused and exceed goals.

As a result I have won everything from diamond rings and a car to exotic trips to places like Bora Bora. That was my best trip ever! Bora Bora is exquisite! When I saw it, I said to myself and

Studies show that people who write down their goals and daily meditate on them are more likely to achieve them. I have proven this to be true in my own life. Coaching and mentoring are a part of the successful goal setting equation as well.

Tomorrow I’ll be hosting my “Planning To Profit” Masterclass to share some tips, strategies and wisdom that has led to my success, and which go beyond traditional goal setting. Isn’t it about time to achieve the burning dreams down in your heart?

Pressing Into Fervent Prayer

imagesPraying is respecting God’s authority. It’s the creature calling on the Creator to say I need you. I want you before all these things. I’m solely dependent upon you and without you …

I am nothing.  But with you, I can do all things.

God gave authority on earth to man so anything that happens on earth by God will only happen through a righteous man or woman. God needs man to commune with Him to stop judgment on earth because we have been given authority in this domain.

This is why satan is relentless at trying to frustrate you, so you won’t open your mouth and speak creative words of authority that shut him down. He knows that when you open your mouth in faith believing, heaven moves, things shake and God’s will manifests on earth.

James 5:16 says:

16 Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].

Fervent prayer brings much power, demonstration, much ability, much manifestation. Ther word “fervent” in the Greek is the word, “energeo”, where we get the word “energy”. It means “to be active, efficient:—do, (be) effectual (fervent), be mighty in, show forth self, work (effectually in).

Fervent prayer involves your entire being: spirit, soul and body. It’s red-hot prayer that boils over from your heart. Fervent prayer is always based upon the God-kind of faith. This means before you open your mouth to pray and decree, you know the answer is yes and amen, because God told you to say it by His Spirit.

When you fervently pray, heaven is released into earth. If you don’t pray, who will? If you don’t pray, how can the angels be released to bring it to pass? All believers are called to pray to advance God’s kingdom on earth, thereby demolishing the enemy’s strongholds. So I admonish you … PRAY NOW!

Prayer Power

power-of-prayer

Why is prayer so powerful for the believer? There are many reasons. I’d like to share three.

First, God commands us to pray to Him. Prayer is how you communicate with God. It shows that you have faith or confidence in God’s word. Jesus said in Matthew 6:6:

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. [Read more…]

No Fear Here: Fighting to Fulfill Your Prophetic Destiny

imagesA Word of Encouragement for You

You are not alone. Even though at times you may feel this way, do not be deceived by your unsanctified emotions like fear, doubt, unbelief and self-pity. God loves you. Intercessors are picking you up in the spirit and praying for your strength. So keep right on moving forward to fulfill your prophetic destiny and resist those lying thoughts and feelings.

Fulfilling your prophetic destiny will not come without resistance, because you have an adversary that knows once you come into a greater awareness and revelation of WHO YOU ARE, you will diminish his kingdom of darkness, by your light. [Read more…]

3 Things To Do Now To Blast Off In 2016!

imagesAs we head into 2016, I am taking this time to stop and reflect on what I have accomplished this year and to meditate on my top priorities for 2016.

In order to come out of the gate strong in 2016, we must set aside quiet time with our Creator God to perceive what are our top initiatives for the new year. If you will take time to do this now, you will be operating strategically, doing first things first, and this will produce greater results with less effort.

I have listed below three practical action steps that you can do now to position yourself for success in the new year: [Read more…]

Run Into Your War Room & Pray Now

MV5BMTYyNTUxMjQwNF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwNDY5MDIwNTE@._V1_SX214_AL_The #1 movie right now at the box office is “War Room”, which was sorely underrated by movie critics at first. It’s about the relevance and power of prayer to change people and situations when all seems lost. In the movie, a seasoned intercessor teaches a budding intercessor how to war in prayer to save her marriage and family. The novice intercessor learns how to set up what’s called a war room (or prayer closet), and the only ammunition she uses to save her marriage is the infallible, inerrant, incorruptible, eternal, omnipotent Word of God straight from the Bible. God’s Word always prevails if you pray in faith believing! If you haven’t seen War Room yet, it’s a must if you want to know how to pray to protect your family. Here’s the link to the check it out: War Room Trailer

Prayer is one of my passions. The other is worship dance. They flow together as a part of the river of thanksgiving, praise, worship that I get to lavishly minister unto the Lord because of my love for Him. It’s in my secret place that I encounter the glorious manifest presence of my God. This 3-fold cord of thanksgiving, praise and worship naturally flows into the violent, fervent river of intercession, where Holy Spirit leads me in strategic prayer on behalf others and for specific situations until I hit the bullseye. Setting Healthy Boundaries for You

One thing that I have learned in life is that people treat you the way you let them. When you set healthy boundaries for yourself, people will treat you accordingly. Then you will attract the right people into your life. Everyone deserves dignity and respect.

41tDli5g5GL._AA160_If no one ever modeled what it looks like to set healthy boundaries for yourself, read the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Highlight the Scriptures that show how Jesus set healthy boundaries for himself and how He responded to others. Also, read the books of St. John and 1, 2 and 3 John to learn how much God loves you.

Holy Spirit rocked my world when I read what Jesus said in John 17:26 about God loving me just as much as Him. Initially, I thought believing this revelation was prideful because I had an inferiority complex. When you know the truth of God’s Word, it will set you free! (John 8:32) [Read more…]

10 Keys To Effective Prayer

10 Keys To Effective Prayer

Prayer is a powerful weapon and gift that our Father has given to the believer to advance His kingdom on earth. Jesus is the perfect prayer and our Chief Intercessor. If you want to learn how to get answers to your prayers, read and study how Jesus prayed and got results in the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. I thank Jesus for sending Holy Spirit to help us pray in our understanding or native language, and with groanings and utterances (our heavenly prayer language or tongues) when we don’t know how to pray.

I have learned to always yield to Holy Spirit’s leading in prayer. Why? Because I want God’s perfect will to be done, not mine. When you pray Holy Spirit-inspired prayers in your priestly, kingly authority, God will answer because He’s given the believer legal jurisdiction and kingdom dominion on earth as it is in heaven. (Genesis 1:26-28, Romans 8:26-28, Revelations 1:5-6) Here are ten ways to pray effectively. Although there are more, these ten principles will help you align your heart to pray God’s will and reap results. [Read more…]
