I have lived long enough to know that in life you will have problems. Jesus tells us this in John 16:33:
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
I prefer to call them challe
nges or opportunities because each one contains a silver lining … something for us to learn about
how strong we are by faith in Christ Jesus. We also get to experience the powerful love of the Father as He downloads the wisdom, connections and provision to tackle the problem. We truly cannot lose with the faith we use when we keep our minds stayed on Him (Is. 26:33).
The best example of an overcomer in the Bible to me is Jesus. Sometimes I sit and think about how hard it must have been for Him Who had never sinned to patiently endure being mistreated and ultimately to die a horrific death on the cross to forgive our sins.
